If I was a fruit...

If I was a fruit, I would like to be a pong pong or any other poisonous fruit. Why? If anyone eats me, they will die and I will be very happy. I would also be able to poison people whom I do not like until they are scared of me.

"Good manners will open doors that the best education cannot."

This means to me that only by your manners you can succeed. Even if you have the best education but you have no manners, you will never succeed. But if you have manners, even if you do not have the best education, you will succeed.

Too much money...

The government has too much money to waste. They have full dress rehearsals every Saturday. Whenever I come home from church every Saturday evening, there will be the army force helicopter flying past and my father always say that they have too much money to waste. They should have used the money for other things.

H1N1 Pandemic

The current H1N1 situation does not affect me as it is just like the normal flu. H1N1 is not like SARS. It is not very deadly and it will not kill you on the spot. It can be cured even if you do not eat medicine. I think that the goverment is taking alot precaution as they are cancelling all the group projects. But I also like the goverment for doing this as the CCA and supplementery classes are cancelled. Now, the supplementery classes are resumed...
Many locals are still going out to Orchard Road besides the current pandemic. They do not really bother as it is already locally spreading. Even if you stay away from such places you may still get it. Every body can still lead our normal lifes.

NE Show

The NE show was great and i really liked it. It had all the gun shooting and boats.... But it was polluting the air... It was a great experience as all the actors and actresses were great and nothing went wrong. I really liked the dinner that they prepared. the 10 chapter story was very good as it was specific and detailed. The dancers were really impressive. That day we had the NE show had very good weather as it was not very hot only when the sun is out. The best part was when the boats were on the water as they were very fast and there was alot of water splashing everywhere. I liked the ending as it rained. During the day, I sweat and when it was raining it was like taking a bath. But this is even better as you can talk to your friends at the same time and you are wearing your clothes.

Ancient Greece

As a woman, I would not like to live in the Ancient Greece as during then the woman were useless as they could not do anything or have anything in their possesion. I would rather die then to live there. I t would be horrible and I would always feel very unfair.

School Reopening

So sad, the MOE is not closing the school for 1 more week such that i can do my homework. Now i am rushing to finish and i think i will fail. I want the virus to spread in the school such that it will close and we can stay at home, playing computer. I think that the MOE is not trying to sop the viirus from spreading like he said in the newspaper. He is letting the virus spread as he will only close the school after it spread.

Everyday, there is homework and never ending homework. When you have finished one, you will get another one. Now everything is so difficult. Unlike the past, you are now learning more then what you are suppose to learn. One of your subjects, maybe, your parents only learn it when they are in junior college.

Cathedrals

When i went to Europe for holiday, my parents would bring my brother and i to see cathedrals everyday. All of them always had a pipe organ and the cathedral would be in the shape of the cross. I learnt that during the war, the pope had the most power to control the city. The cathedral would then be a very important place as the priests stayed there. The cathedrals are very big and they are very tall. It has many stain glass and statues and it would take ages just to restore them.

My new toy

When i went for my holiday, i bought a very cheap, good and cute soft toy. Although the toy was only 9 euros, it was not made in china but in Germany where i have bought it. When i passed by the shop, there were many toys so i decided to go in and have a look. At a corner of the shop, there were many soft toys on the shelves. My mother chose the toy for me as it was the cutest and in the best condition. As it was a very good buy she paid for it quickly. Now, i really like the soft toy and i hope that i may be able to buy it again.

Maplestory

The new maplestory rocks! There are new items, jobs, and many other things. It is very fun as you have new skills and it is very cool! I think that it would attract many students to play it as it was released during the school holidays.

Blogging

Blogging is so boring... Now, during the holidays, you have to come up with anything. I do not even know what to write, so I am just writing about blogging. I would rather have to write journals than to do blogging. When it is the holidays, the teachers give you subjects to write about but when you do blogs, you have to think about what you want to write. After a while, you would have no more ideas and would have nothing to write about.

My visit to the Eiffel Tower

The first time i went to the Eiffel Tower was on 2 June 2009. I took the subway from the hotel to the station nearest to the Eiffel Tower. The ride was about 1 hour. It was so long......(in Singapore, we only need at most 30 minutes to get to the city.) When we arrived, there was a snaking queue all the way to Timbutoo. But, this was the queue for the lift that brings you all the way up. If i had queued, i would never be able to go up. Anyway, we decided to climb up. At the thought of that, my mother decided to wait for my father, my brother and i while we went up.

Very soon, we were on our way up. After climbing 328 steps, we reached the 1st level. As we were climbing up, we had to open our mouths to get more air. By doing that, the air made our mouth very dry. We had no choice but to buy a drink which cost 5 euros from the cafe. My father complained that it was the most expensive drink he had bought so far. After taking soome photos, we continued to climb to the next level. After climbing 700 steps, we reach the 2nd level. We wanted to climb to the highest level but there were no stairs leadinig to it.:( We then went down and went back to the hotel.

My Holidays

I just came back from europe and i really hate the weather now. In europe, the weather is so cool but sometimes it is cold. When it rains, it is very miserable as when you are drenched, you will be very cold. Whenever it is sunny, there is always people sitting in the sun drinking beer or they are sun tanning. At first i did not understand why they like the sun so much, but after experiencing the rain, i understood. Now i really miss the weather.

My Favourite Place

My favourite place is my house as i have been living in it since i was born. I have alot of neighbours whom once went to HPPS and i like to play with them. When i am at home, i feel very comforable and able to do anything i want. whenever i am at home, i will always have something to do and i will not get bored.

I think creativity is not inborn. You can nuture it as long as you belive you can do it, you have confident in yourself and you put your best to learn it. It takes time to learn but you cannot give up. You have to finsh it to the end.

I had a lot of fun during the holiday. I had camps on the weekends, tution(it was not fun), I watched movies and I went to Wild Wild Wet with my cousins. We had a wirl of a time over there. We had snacks and drinks. We even had KFC for dinner. I really enjoyed my holidays and I lk forward t the June holidaays.

That was the problem... I didn't know

I think your family is more important because when your family is gone, it cannot come back. When your object is gone you can buy one more or make it. Your family have feelings and they keep you company, they cheer you up when you are sad, they spend time with you...... If you do not have a family, you will be very lonely and you may not find happiness......

The current thoughts in my mind......

I have been wishing of going to a country where I can play with snow..... Although I just went to hokkaido, I still miss the soft snow and playing out in the snow and throwing snowballs...... I have not ski in my life and I hope that my parents will bring me and my family to ski.....

About my week

Homework, homework, and homework. I feel so stressed except for excursions. I feel as if the wax figures in battle box are staring at me. I really enjoyed my weekend as I can rest all day but too bad teachers have to give homework for the weekends......

P5 camp

During the camp i had lots of fun especially during the campfire. I am very happy that my group had won the most enthusiastic price. I think my group deserved it as we practice very hard for the campfire cheer. The most exciting activity was the abselling as I had never did that in my life before. When I was during the abselling, I was abit scared as I thought that I would fall. Still, I manage to make my way down and istead I had alot of fun. On the last day, when we had to leave, I was abit sad and abit happy. I was sad because I had to leave and I could not do the activities again. I was happy because I could go home and I would not have to bathe in cold water and I can sleep on my comfortable bed again.

What I enjoy doing......

I enjoy playing computer and going to the park to cycle. Duringthe weekends I will go to the park with my father and brothers to cycle. We always cycle for about 1 hour than we will go to Mcdonalds and eat ice-cream. During the weekday, I will always on the computer to play internet games. I always play until dinner time. I always have alot of fun.

Stress

I agree with you. Now a days children are very stress with the new tegenology and now a days there is much more to learn. A day of school is very long as the periods are very long. There is much more work to do than just written work. Children has to use the computer and the sllybas are much harder too. Students have to put in more effort. They stay up late to complete their homework and will not have enough sleep. When they do not have enough sleep, they cannot pay attention in class.
